What is Mansa?

Mansa offers active breaks or pauses for homeoffice workers to help them prevent stress and lesions caused by repetitive work. During these "pomodoro breaks", employees are guided through a set of stretching, strengthening and relaxing exercises.

Why was Mansa created?

As coronavirus cases have surged, so have the number of companies asking their employees to work from home. Workers have lost their work spaces; the physical status of home office workers is seriously compromised. This is WHAT we are solving. Mansa provides them with physical and mental exercises for a short time during the day in order to revitalize body energy. We are using scientifically proven time management techniques, called “pomodoro”. The pomodoro is a system that encourages people to work with the time they have rather than against it. These periodic breaks generate greater productivity, a state of wellness and they inspire creativity.

What are the benefits of Mansa?

Some the main benefits of active pauses are stress decrease, better blood irrigation, the improvement of the sitting posture and better concentration. Of course, several diseases and aches derive from the labor activity. Visual fatigue, for example, is produced by the regular decrease of the blinking due to the continuous reading of documents. This can lead to a severe headache (one of those…) and ocular dryness. Back pain is also very frequent. It is usually caused by bad postures taken throughout the day. One of the most dangerous: the carpal tunnel. This ailment consists of pain or cramps in the wrist by prolonged and repetitive click.
